Forum Title: Vertical Blind Chain Re-Alignment?
Hello, As a new homeowner I thought that the vertical blind chain was too long on one of our vertical blinds (half of it was piling up on the floor). I made the mistake of cutting about 16 inches off one end. This solved the length problem for awhile, but the chain has since crept up so that now the shorter end is so short, I cannot fully close the blinds. The end of one side of the chain reaches the pulley and the blinds can no longer move to their fully closed position. Is there an easy way to re-feed the chain through so I have ample room on either end? Or do I need a new chain. How do I do this? Can i do it myself or do you recommend a blind person?

Which model is it? Emco has pretty good instructions on most of their models, but there are a couple that you need to know a trick or 2. Is it a very thick (like 1 1/2) plastic door? With 2 raised panels at the bottom? OR with a X pattern on the bottom and a scalloped design around the glass?
